Artwork & The Artwork Approval Process

Artwork

All custom artwork created by us for your products remains the property of Foxy Sweetie in which we may add the design to our website for other customers.  The exception to this is if you or another designer have supplied a personal image, company logo or custom artwork. whereupon we will respect the copyright and privacy of that design.

Please note that we do not supply artwork to you for the use of other suppliers. If you require printed stickers, labels or wrappers, please advise and we will happily supply a quote for this service.

Artwork Approval

Although every effort is taken to be accurate, an artwork draft is supplied for your final approval and is your responsibility to check for spelling and design errors.

Alterations

We allocate one hour of design time to your order and up to three amendments only.  Changes may take 5 minutes for a font change through to 30 minutes for an entirely different design.  Please be mindful of this when communicating your design.

Please note, we do not create multiple variations of your idea so you may see what it could look like. We suggest using our template library or supplying imagery of existing artwork and ideas you have seen as an example of what you are wishing to create.

Redesign or Reprinting After You Have Submitted Final Approval

Once you have submitted your approval, it is passed immediately to our printing department.  If you decide on changes to your design after you have submitted your approval, a redesign fee will apply. If your order has already been printed and produced, then a reprinting and repackaging fee will apply.

Other Spelling & Punctuation Errors

Please note that we will reproduce exactly what you request, so please ensure all punctuation and spelling is as you would like it to be. If you are not sure and you would like us to review what you have submitted, please ask when placing your order and we’ll be happy to assist.

Reproduction Of Jobs After They Have Been Received

If you received your order and there is an error on our part (outside of that outlined above) then we will immediately produce replacements and cover the shipping of these replacements to your shipping address plus the cost of freighting the original products back to our warehouse.

If the error is your own, we will happily reproduce the job ASAP to ensure you have your products for your event, although you will be responsible for the freight both ways of the new and the original products, plus the reprinting and production charge.

Our Branding

All products produced by Foxy Sweetie have our website printed in small lettering on either the reverse side, or neighbouring border of the product. This branding will be removed only by request for corporate customers where their own branding needs could be confused with our labelling.

Ingredient, Nutrition & Allergen Information

Under New Zealand law, ingredients and allergen information only needs to be present if the goods supplied are intended to be for resale. For this reason, we do not include ingredient, nutrition and allergen information by default. However, you are welcome to request this to be added to the design at no extra cost. Please note that if you do intend to resell our products, it is your responsibility to advise this prior to production.  Alternatively, please feel free to email us for the ingredients for your chosen products or view the ingredients page on this website for the common used candies.

Changes To Foxy Sweetie Designs

As all Foxy Sweetie designs are our creations, we can change any element to suit your project.  Colours, orientation, fonts, add photos and logos.

Artwork Submission

We assume that any artwork, photos or logos you submit to Foxy Sweetie is yours or you have the permission of its author to use it. We respect the copyright of other designs and brands and ask our customers to do the same.

Photo Submission

We try to produce the highest resolution version of your artwork for your project. Modern day phones produce excellent images that are perfect for wrappers.  Older photos and images from decades ago may not produce the same clarity print. Please try your best to supply the highest resolution version of your photos that is possible.

Please do not crop the photo prior to submitting it to us.

Logo Submission

For the best results, please submit all logos in PNG, PDF or EPS format. If not available, a high resolution JPG should be sourced.

Submitting Files To Us

For all products that have the ability to add photos and logos, you can upload the image on that product page for our designers to use. If you don’t have the photo yet, you can opt to send it to us later at info@foxysweetie.co.nz

Unresponsive Customers

All custom orders receive a draft artwork for your approval prior to proceeding on time.  This is sent to you via email and if unresponsive for two days, we will call on the number provided at the time of ordering. If we are unable to make contact, we reserve the right to send the goods with the exact text mentioned at the time of your order. Failure to respond may delay shipping of your order, so please be sure to check your emails and voicemails.

Rush Charges

If you would like your order to be moved to the head of the queue, please contact customer service at info@foxysweetie1.wpengine.com.  Please note,  there is an additional charge for this service and we will do our best to accommodate your needs where possible.

 

Printing Information

Our Printers vs Your Monitor/Screen

All products use a digital printing process that uses the CMYK colour gamut.  When we send you a proof, please remember that your mobile phone, tablet or PC monitor will not be calibrated in the same way. Also, screens use a different colour model to represent colours and hence the printed product may vary from that which you have seen during the drafting process. We can offer a full colour, hard copy print draft, couriered upon request – additional charges apply.

Paper and Print Finishes

We offer a number of finishes depending on the product ordered including high gloss, linen card, Kraft and metallic foil print. All designs are presumed to be white gloss paper or labels unless otherwise specified on a product by product basis.

Colour Matching

If you are supplying artwork and you would to ensure an accurate colour reproduction, you must provide us with a CMYK colour or Hex Colour Code.

Printing On Confectionary

Please note that we do not have the ability to print directly on any of our confectionery, including lollipops. We do however have a range of candy that can be customised with your logo, text and photo or fully custom created to shape and flavour.  Please contact info@foxysweetie.co.nz to discuss your project.

 

Delivery & Courier Information

Shipping Delays

Please understand that although we’ll dispatch on time, we can not control our courier companies and there is always the possibility of a delay. Late arrival of goods does not entitle you to a refund, nor the arrival of goods after your event. Please ensure when ordering that you allow enough time for delivery from dispatch to your chosen address.

If your order has been damaged in transit and you feel your order is entitled to a replacement or refund, photo evidence of the courier box, packaging and product is required. 

Notifying Us Of Shipping Delays

If you have not received your parcel in the time frame you expected, please notify us immediately so we may conduct a track and trace. Once we have an update, we will contact you and then put you in contact with the freight company in question so you can receive updates directly.

Your delivery was not received.

If your parcel track and trace advises it has been delivered but you have not received it, please make contact with the courier company directly with your track and trace details.  

Alternatively please notify us and we will contact the courier company on your behalf to investigate. Should your package require a ‘claim’ for refund due to a missing parcel, this must be lodged with the courier company directly. 

Delivery On Weekends

We currently do not offer a weekend delivery service.

Out of Stock or Backorder Products

It is our policy to contact you via email to provide options (alternative product, refund on product or separate back order shipment of that product) should a product be out of stock or on backorder.  Should you not reply to our email attempts, we will contact by phone and failing this, we will send the order out in full once all stock in your order is available.  Please note,  it is the clients responsibility to reply to our communication attempts to allow us to continue the process of your order should you require the items for a specific gift or event date.  

Missing Products

Foxy Sweetie uses a packaging camera to record your packaged order. If you believe that your order is missing items, please let us know as soon as possible. We will then review your packaging recording to identify your claim, and if an error is detected, we will send out the missing items immediately. All requests for shortages must be received within 7 days of receiving the goods.

Melting Chocolate

If you receive your chocolates and you are concerned that they may be heat affected – STOP. Place the package in a cool location for at least an hour to allow it cool down. Once it has cooled, then open that package to check for any distortion. Please note,  it is out of Foxy Sweetie’s control over how the product is handled once shipped.  Heat damage from sitting in a courier depot or courier vehicle without any climate control may result in heat damage to your chocolate and confectionery.

We recommend having your order delivered to a workplace, for two reasons:

  1. Workplaces tend to be cooler in the summer months
  2. Someone is usually able to take receipt of your parcel instead of it being left out in the elements at home 
Custom Made Orders & Delayed Delivery Requests

Please note that custom made products and selected delayed delivery dates during seasonal peak periods may have a slight delay.  Although we do our best to meet your requested dates, inbound stock delays may affect our dispatch times. Please keep this in mind when selecting your delivery dates during Christmas, Easter and Valentines. 

Returns Policy

Our Promise

If you find that the products you ordered do not presented as agreed during the artwork approval process (e.g. misprinted following confirmation of artwork) or are incorrect, you may return the unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or replacement.  We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Refunds

Following the placement of your order, if you change your mind about your design, the chocolates / products you have selected or wish to cancel your order, this does not entitle you to a refund. And whilst every care is taken to ensure the safe and secure packaging of your products,  it is out of Foxy Sweetie’s control over how the product is handled once shipped.  

Should you product suffer from heat damage from sitting in a courier depot, courier vehicle or unattended once delivered without any climate control, this does not entitle you to a refund. We are however happy to make adjustments to accomodate your needs prior to printing and dispatch.

 

Lush Fluff & Sweet Station Packages

 Staff Attended Packages and Custom Events
  1. Pre-made packages (i.e. The Mini, The Soiree, The Extravagant) pricing are based on allotted timeframe, guest numbers, flavour numbers and event venue being within a 40km radius from Whangarei CBD.  Prices are GST inclusive
  2. Delivery / collection charge within Whangarei city limits $25.00. Delivery / collection charge outside Whangarei city limits are $1.80 per kilometre.
  3. Event setup or pack down charge $50.00
  4. Optional add-ons, added flavours and extra staff are additional costs.
  5. Seasonal/custom flavours and custom toppers need to be ordered up to 4 weeks in advance of the event. The more time we have to prepare will ensure that we’re able to offer you exactly what you want.
  6. A 50% deposit is payable to confirm the booking. Remaining balance payment is required before the day of your event. Payments can be in the form of  cash, EFTPOS or credit card (+2% credit card fees apply).
  7. Losses/breakages/damaged goods caused by guests will be charged in addition to the original price.
  8. Any debt recovery costs will be at the hirer’s expense.
  9. Changes to packages (flavours, add-ons, venue change etc), will only be accepted up to 14 days prior to the the event date. Changes that must be made after this time could incur an additional fee.
  10. In the event of cancellation by the customer, a full refund of your deposit is returned if cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to your event date. If cancellation is made after this time frame, Foxy Sweetie has the right to retain the deposit (or part of the deposit) to cover costs incurred by Foxy Sweetie. 

 

Hire Item Terms

Event Hire Items 
  1. Hire products prices are quoted for one day or weekend hire only.  Prices are GST inclusive.
  2. Delivery / collection charge within Whangarei city limits $25.00. Delivery / collection charge outside Whangarei city limits are $1.80 per kilometre.
  3. Event setup or pack down charge $50.00. 
  4. All published prices are subject to change without notice.
  5. A 50% deposit is payable to confirm the booking. Remaining balance payment is required before the day of your event. Payments can be in the form of  cash, EFTPOS or credit card (+2% credit card fees apply).
  6. Losses/breakages/damaged goods will be charged in addition to the original price.  
  7. Any debt recovery costs will be at the hirer’s expense.
  8. All damage, loss or breakage of equipment and packaging (including boxes and crates) is to be paid for by the hirer at the replacement cost. It is the hirer’s responsibility to guard against equipment loss or damage until returned or collected. Hire equipment is not insured whilst outside of Foxy Sweetie’s premises or vehicles.
  9. The hirer accepts full responsibility for the correct manner of use of the equipment.
  10. The hirer shall accept liability for any injury or damage caused to the hirer or associate users and their property.
  11. The hirer shall pay for all delivery costs. All times stated or quoted for delivery are approximate. Difficult access will incur additional delivery fees.
  12. Foxy Sweetie will not be liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond their control.
  13. Deliveries made to third parties or unoccupied premises are made entirely at the hirers risk.
  14. All goods are carefully checked when packed. It is the hirer’s responsibility to check the goods upon delivery and notify Foxy Sweetie of any discrepancies and/or damages between the goods supplied and the goods ordered. Complaints made after the return or pickup of goods will not be considered.
  15. All serve ware/crockery and cutlery are to be returned rinsed, food free & re-packed in the delivery containers. A washing fee may be applied.
  16. The candy floss machine is to be returned cleaned and requires cleaning upon the completion of its use. A cleaning fee may be applied. 
  17. All equipment needs to be placed in an accessible position for collection by Foxy Sweetie . Return visits to collect missing stock will incur additional fees, alternatively the client will return the stock to our premises.
  18. All goods for hire remain the property of Foxy Sweetie.
  19. Changes to orders will only be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the opening of business on the date of delivery. i.e. Friday delivery can only be altered before 7am Thursday. Changes that must be made after this time could incur an additional handling charge.
  20. We reserve the right to charge the credit card supplied by you for any broken/missing items from your order within 14 days of the function date.
  21. In the event of cancellation by the customer, Foxy Sweetie has the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to costs incurred by Foxy Sweetie.
  22. Failing to return hire equiptment at the required time will result in an hourly hire fee for each hour it is late. Should the late arrival interfere with another scheduled booking, you will be charged a full hire rate.

 

Payment Terms

Accepted forms of payment

Foxy Sweetie accepts the following forms of payment:  direct bank transfer, credit card (+%2 credit card fees apply), Afterpay and Laybuy.

Invoiced orders for direct bank transfers are due upon the invoice date.  

Unpaid and Overdue accounts are subject to late payment fees and collection costs.

Miscellaneous

Wrapped By Hand

All of our products are produced by hand. For this reason there will always be slight variations from chocolate to chocolate in positioning by a difference of millimetres. We ask for your understanding when reviewing your purchase.

Bulk Orders

Foxy Sweetie offers bulk discounts for orders over 100+ units which vary on a product by product basis and for resellers. Please contact info@foxysweetie.co.nz to discuss.
